Log into a Domain controller which is not hosting any FSMO roles
To ensure it run the following commands
(You are in a DC(teamdc2) which is not hosting any FSMO roles)
Mount the W2K8 R2 DVD/CD, go to command prompt and move to the directory “Support\adprep” which is located inside the DVD/CD
You have to be a “Enterprise Admin” with the following access else you will bet the below mentioned error
Once you confirm the access run the command “adprep / rodcprep”. You will get the following output
The output should show there are no errors
